LG and Prada Debut New Fashion Phone

After announcing a partnership back in December, the first fruits of LG and Prada's labors to develop a new fashion phone have emerged. Despite what was said in the company's original announcement, the new Prada Phone by LG is based on the KE850 that LG already had in development.
Beating Apple and its iPhone to the punch, the Prada Phone by LG sports a large touch-screen interface, forgoing the traditional phone keypad and soft keys. Prada has had a hand in almost every part of the handset, down to the ringtones and other pre-loaded content. Feature wise, the tri-band (GSM 900/1800/1900MHz) and EDGE capable handset incorporates a 2.0 megapixel camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens, microSD memory expansion, and Bluetooth v2.0. When not in use, the screen of the Prada Phone by LG disappears similar to LG's Chocolate series of handsets, providing a device that is as much a fashion accessory as it is a phone.
The Prada Phone by LG will be available starting in late February in normal phone retailers and select Prada stores in the UK, France, Germany, and Italy, followed by Asian markets in late March. Pricing will start at 600 Euros (approximately US$775).
